Tucked away in a private parkland with stunning lakes, this 2-bedroom holiday cabin in Lanaken is a peaceful escape for families or small groups of up to 4 guests. Surrounded by a lush garden, the home features a spacious patio, stone barbecue, and outdoor dining area, perfect for relaxing afternoons and al fresco meals. Inside, the cabin offers modern, comfortable furnishings, a sizable bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals. The two bedrooms upstairs include one double and two single beds, ideal for families. Parking is available right in front of the cabin. Enjoy scenic walks or bike rides around the lakes, or dine at the nearby lake house restaurant with a large terrace and friendly service. Explore Lanaken's historic center (1 km), shop at Jumbo or Action, or take a short drive to Maastricht (15 mins) or Aachen Airport (16 km). Pet-friendly: 1 pet allowed (garden not fully fenced) Ideal for: Nature lovers, families, and peaceful getaways

An optional utilities and service package of EUR 75,00 can be selected prior to your arrival. You will receive a separate communication with the payment link should you wish to include it.
This package ensures a seamless stay and conveniently covers services such as final cleaning, utility consumption, service support, and protection against minor damages or incidental costs during your stay.
Guests who prefer may manage these services independently, provided the property is returned in good order at check-out.

Tips from owner:
On entering the park from the main gate drive up to a fork in the road, take the right hand fork and follow the road for several minutes. You will bear to the right then go straight then pass a car park on your left and the cabin is the 1st house after the carpark on your left ( the last house ) before a another clearing / carpark. For amenities you have a selection of stores on the the Steenweg (turn right out of the park then left or right at the roundabout. Jumbo is our favourite store it has lovely food and all you need for your stay. Also on Steenweg you have a selection of restaurants

Right at the roundabout - American diner , Coffee House , Japanese , Chinese , Italian

Things to do in the locality -

Enjoy the natural beauty of the lakes No1 lake has a man made beach with a kiddies playground and restaurant. Lake No2,3 you can fish for Carp,Pike.Bream and Perch. Lake No4 is a children's swimming only lake also with several beaches for sunbathing.
Rent a bike for 10 euro per day at the park reception or walk around the woods and surrounding area.

Cologne Germany - A 1hr drive and is well worth a visit with plenty of fine dining or maybe a traditional German brewery , check out the fantastic Cathedral or take in a museum or a walk along the Rhine river.

Brussels Belgium - A 1hr drive Soak up the Capital of Belgium taste some traditional trapist beers in the one of the many sqaures, taste the quintesential Belgium dish Moulle & Fritte and may be the odd chocolate for dessert. Many things to do in this city including fantastic night life , museums , one could also visit the HQ of the EU to find out about Brexit ;-)

Maastricht Holland - The nearest City just 10 mins drive from the cabin. Maastricht is a cosy place with a nice mix of people (a big university made up of 71 different nationalities) great shops , a lovely market on Friday in the Market sqaure (try the traditional Dutch fried fish) , rent a push bike or moped and cruise around town , check out the most amazing book shop housed in an old church - Boekhandel Dominicanen or just enjoy the laid back vibe of the city.
