This detached Country house is in a tranquil setting of cottages outside the city along a not-often used road in the town/village of Nea Tiryntha. It is an ideal haven for those who wish to enjoy a peaceful stay close to nature but at the same time being close to the beautiful city of Nafplio, which is just 5km away.
Getting Around
The house is located around 5km away from Nafplio, so it is important to have a means of transportation if you want to move around, more preferable to have a car. Private parking place for the car is provided for free for our guests.
There is also possibility of car, bike or bicycle rental - you can ask me information in case you are interested.
The city of Nafplio is a very small and there is no public transport inside it. You can easily move around the city on foot, by car or by bicycle. In case you wish to move to other villages or cities by other means, there is a bus station with very frequent routes in the center of Nafplio.
Nafplio is easily accessible from Athens, as it is only 180 km away and you can come directly from the airport either by car via Olympia Odos or you can take the bus from Kifisos Station in Athens and arrive here in around 2 hours.Family 4 bedroom Agrotourism Country House. Enjoy your stay in nature surrounded by olive and orange trees, just a few km from Nafplio.
The ground floor is about 55 m² in size and comprises of the following rooms: A living room with a fireplace, a flat screen TV, a big sofa and chairs. There is also a bedroom next to it, which includes a double bed. Plus there is a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, coffee machine, fridge and a dining area, as well as a bathroom with a bath tub. A marble staircase leads to the first floor, which includes: one big bedroom with double bed and one more with two single beds. The floor is complemented with a bathroom with shower. There is also a 4th bedroom with double bed at the basement of the house, which can be accessed from the ground floor. There is central heating and AC for all the rooms, except the 4th which is the coolest and has a fan.
The house has a very big private garden with a terrace equipped with garden furniture, sunshade roof, garden loungers and a hammock. The property is fenced and is therefore suitable for children and dogs. It also provides a sunshade private parking area next to the house which can fit up to two big cars. There is also BBQ which make your vacation even more pleasant.
Please note that the holiday country house can be reached from the village Nea Tiryntha or from Nafplio. Furthermore, there is a travel bed for small children, baby crib and high chair upon request. Pets are allowed upon request. Free maps and information for the city are provided. Flexible hours of arrival and departure, upon request. Included during your stay: -Shower gels and shampoos -Clean bed linen and towels -Wireless internet connection -Air conditioner -Heating -Hot water (solar panel or thermostat) -Private parking place
The town centre of Nafplio with its restaurants and big supermarkets is approximately 5km away. The house is located near the village of Nea Tiryntha (1km away), where you can also find groceries store, bakery and small super market. During your stay, you can visit the historic center of Nafplio, visit Palamidi and Bourtzi and have a stop at a traditional cafe in the center. Epidaurus and Mycenae are two historical places which are very close to the house and should definitely be in the list of sightseeing. (30 minutes by car from the house). During summer, Nafplio is a perfect holiday escape as there are plenty of beaches near the city, which you can mainly visit by car. IKondyli and Tolo beach are just 15minutes away from the house by car. You can also choose to follow one of the daily cruises from Tolo to beautiful small islands such as Hydra and Spetses with Pegasus cruises.
