Antico Essicatoio di Uva della Valpolicella Converted into a Historical Residence Cà Dei Merli is an old drying kiln for the grapes of Amarone della Vapolicella finely renovated in 2014, immersed in the tranquillity of the valley, the junction point between the city of Verona, Lake Garda and Lessinia. Situated behind Fumane at the foot of Mount Rivoli under the spectacular and evocative Sanctuary of the Madonna de la Salette, which is a fantastic panoramic balcony over the vineyards of Valpolicella, it is the ideal place to regain energy.
The property also has an 800 square metre outdoor park with a 7X4 above-ground swimming pool and is equipped with sun loungers and barbecue, sun umbrella, table and chairs for dining. There is plenty of parking space outside, but always within the property, which is accessed through a motorised gate.
The house consists of a manor area where the owners reside and an independent area reserved for guests.
The old drying room has two rooms that sleep four each, one with a double bed and a bunk bed, the other with two double beds.
There is also a kitchen equipped with an oven, fridge, dishwasher and a wood stove for cooking in the typical way of this area. The rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, independent heating, air conditioning and free internet. The flat has a laundry room with washing machine and a 400l hot water storage tank to guarantee a constant flow of hot water. There is a comfortable and charming sitting room at the entrance for reading, working or writing.
