Surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, the villa that sleeps 21 is situated in the Chianti countryside in a panoramic position on the top of a hill from which a wonderful view of the Tuscan countryside stretches as far as the eye can see. Built in the 19th century as the manor house of a large agricultural property, it is located in Montespertoli, a hamlet of Montegufoni about halfway between Florence and Siena in a very quiet and traffic-free location. There are five flats, one of which is on the second floor of the villa and enjoys a splendid view. Three other flats are located in a building adjoining the villa on the ground, first and second floors respectively; the last is an annexe within the garden. Each of the flats has a kitchen/living room with satellite TV, several bedrooms and bathrooms. On the second floor there are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower and bidet. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms and one twin-bedded room and two bathrooms with shower and bidet. On the ground floor there are three double bedrooms, one twin-bedded room and four bathrooms with shower and bidet. On this floor, all on the same level and with no steps and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom, there is a large kitchen complete with electric oven, microwave, gas hob, coffee machine dishwasher and washing machine generally used for cooking for all the members of the group and a dining room for eating inside when the weather does not permit the use of the large garden for outdoor meals. All rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning and each flat has free internet access. The property is surrounded by a garden with a barbecue and is completely fenced in; there are two large gazeboes equipped with tables and chairs. The pool is also equipped with sun umbrellas and 10 sun loungers and is completely fenced off and accessible through a gate, so it is also safe for children. The villa is surrounded by numerous scenic routes of great beauty for long excursions on foot or by bicycle through the rolling Tuscan hills. There are also tennis courts and two riding stables near the villa. Situated about 20 kilometres from the centre of Florence, it is also an excellent starting point for day trips to Volterra, Vinci, Certaldo San Gimignano, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. Just 900 metres away is the village of Montagnana with post office, bank, bar, pizzeria and a renowned restaurant where you can enjoy "la bistecca alla fiorentina".
