Okrug Gornji is a charming fisherman village located on island Ciovo in central Dalmatia, only 5 km from Split airport, which makes it easily accessible to travellers arriving by car and by airplane. The island is connected to the historical UNESCO protected Trogir center with two bridges, while there are also many regular boat lines which connect Okrug Gornji with Trogir center and go regularly during high season. Okrug Gornji lies in a bay on the western part of the island, which protects the area from the winds and the waves the other parts of the island are exposed to, which is why Okrug Gornji makes a perfect harbour and a great place to go for a swim – the sea always seems to be a bit more warmer than on the other parts of the island. It is not a coincidence that the most popular beach in Trogir riviera – also known as “Copacabana” – is located precisely in Okrug Gornji. This 2 km long pebble beach offers a large selection of beach bars, cafes, restaurants and watersport activities which can keep you refreshed and fulfill your day with fun.
