The front door enters into the spacious home's hallway, where doors lead to the bathroom and bedroom, and three steps lead to the living room with an open kitchen. The living room feels bright and spacious. The sitting area has a sofa, two chairs and a flat-screen TV. There is also a sleeping area here with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) put together as a double bed. The country kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, four-burner gas stove, fridge freezer, combination microwave, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine and filter coffee machine. The bathroom has a toilet, sink with base cabinet, mirror and shower. There is a separate bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200 cm). You can choose to wake up to the first rays of the sun or sleep in with the blackout curtains closed.
There is a cabinet in the hallway and a large closet with hanging space and shelving in the living room. A high chair and folding cot are available in the apartment. Parking is available on the street in front of the property. Parking is free throughout the town.
Surrounding area
Staying in the centre of the peaceful town of Westkapelle means everything is nearby: the bakery, butcher, bike rental, restaurants and cafes are all within a few minutes walk. The supermarket and the beach are 50 metres away.
From the dike, you can look out over the town's characteristic red roofs. Go seal spotting at the lifeguard station, where the animals regularly poke their heads above the water. Climb one of the town's two lighthouses, discover the rich history of the dikes and war history at the Polderhuis, or walk 12 kilometres along the sandy beach from Westkapelle to Vlissingen. The seawall offers a typical sight: fishermen stand with their long lines waiting for a catch, and cars, campers and cyclists drive along the asphalt with the waves on one side and the red and white lighthouse on the other. The end of this dike, where Domburg's sandy beach begins, is a well-known kitesurfing spot for advanced surfers.
