A sanctuary that enchants the senses The 180-square-metre 'Makatea' house is a jewel. The lovingly renovated property combines the charm of a typical Ticino house with exclusive comfort and delights with numerous carefully designed highlights. Here up to six people can enjoy moments of lightness and happiness, together with their four-legged pet. In Brione, above Minusio, the two-storey holiday house is located in a sunny position on the hillside and offers moments of silence and wonder away from all the hustle and bustle. Wherever you are in the house or on the property, the view of our beautiful Lake Maggiore accompanies you. House 'Makatea' is located in a quiet residential street and is suitable for couples, young families, but also for people who cannot walk or who use aids. Stairs and a comfortable lift lead from the garage to the house. Once upstairs, this unique house surprises with its wealth of amenities. On the ground floor, a living room with an open fireplace, a cosy seating area and a table football table await you, which is sure to delight not only the little guests. A spectacular eye-catcher is the large chandelier in the gallery space. The open, bright red kitchen with dining counter is a popular meeting place. Here, an induction hob, steamer, coffee machine, toaster and kettle are ready to assist you in your culinary adventures. On the first level, you will also find a pantry with freezer and shelves, a laundry room with washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron, as well as a barrier-free shower room with WC and washbasin. A staircase with stairlift leads to the upper floor. Here you will find three bedrooms with comfortable double beds. They are all wonderfully comfortable retreats with views of the sparkling lake and direct access to the balcony. Two of the rooms have private bathrooms. Our absolute favourite room is the one with the freestanding bathtub and air-conditioned en-suite bathroom. The outdoor area also promises unique moments of bliss. You can relax on the spacious terrace, refresh your body and soul in the whirlpool, use the sun shower or find your own piece of earthly paradise in the outdoor glass pool (3 x 6 metres with cover). The pool is heated by an environmentally friendly solar system, so the water reaches up to 20° with the sun. If it is cooler in the evening, simply move inside or end the day on a high note with an aperitif in your own private 'Grot dal Martin'. Please note that smoking is only permitted in the outdoor area of Casa 'Makatea'. Ashtrays are available. Please also keep an eye on your children during all outdoor activities, as the terrace is not specially protected for children. * Barrier-free facilities: disabled parking, lift (door width 90 cm), barrier-free access to the house, barrier-free bathroom, stair lift.
