Chalet - 12 personer - 5505 - Mühlbach Am Hochkönig

On arrival at the property at 4.50pm (check-in is from 3pm), the Caretaker who did not introduce herself at this time and a member of the cleaning team were in the house . As no key safe number had been sent to us prior to arrival, as they left the house, they did allow access and assured us the key safe number would be sent asap. On inspecting the property the following issues presented: . Kitchen and dining area. infestation of small flies, a constant irritation to all the guests and repeated cleaning of all the work surfaces. Saturday evening was not an enjoyable start to the holiday. A fly spray was given to us at 9.45pm by the caretaker. Difficult to use when food is being prepared and eaten! The BBQ was filthy, there was a build up of grease and old food stuff hanging off the grease on the cover. This would not be used by us. The caretaker did offer to try and have it cleaned. Table and chairs on the 2nd floor balcony. The rattan has failed and the furniture was not fit for purpose I requested the caretaker had this removed. Bed linen. Both bed sets poor quality. 1 of the sets, the pillowcases would not zip close as they were broken. These were replaced by the caretaker on Saturday evening. None of the bedding had been ironed. Poor and not to the expected or described quality. There was a large stain on the sofa in the lounge. Several pairs of slippers were left in a rack in the hall for guests to use. All were filthy, human hairs, fluff and stains. These were removed by the caretaker. Table on the Patio is usable but damaged. 3 smaller points: 2 dirty vacuums left on show in the house, one immediately inside the front door, the 2nd propped up against the patio furniture. There are several weeds growing through the planks on the patio. The detail cleaning in the corners of walls and skirting is not sharp. Many have cobwebs, dead flies etc. I did use one of the vacuums to attend to the lounge and kitchen. The vacuums are in need of a thorough clean. A Whats app message requesting information concerning our stay, number of guests and passport numbers was received during Saturday afternoon during our travel to the property This would allow the issue of our travel passes. The document was not completed Saturday, due to the issues on check-in, it was completed on Sunday morning. On Monday evening following further messages to the caretaker, the passes were received, 3 days into the holiday. Positives. The caretaker did visit on the Saturday evening following our request for action on the above points. Once the issues had been dealt with the property was just acceptable. However, in light of the issues on check-in, this property does not offer value for money. All of the above issues were raised with Belvilla at the time and following our return home I asked if they had any further comment prior to my postings on Social media. Excerpt from their email. Nevertheless, it is an important part of our assessment that the reported matters were communicated on site and that the caretaker took steps to address them during your stay. We have also noted your comments regarding the key-safe information and the delay in receiving the travel passes. These points will be taken into consideration as part of our review. Overall, we were very happy! At first, we were frustrated by how to find the place and upon arrival, they were still cleaning. Advance communication was not very good. Some additional amenities would be nice such as soap, shampoo, salt and pepper and other basics. But once we settled in and made an intial run to the store, we came o be very happy with Lindelodge. The Guest Mobility card was a big plus which alowed us to use busses and trains in Salzburg area.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in diesem Ferienhaus in Österreich. Das Haus ist sehr gut aufgeteilt, sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Die Räume sind praktisch gestaltet und bieten ausreichend Platz, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin, die uns herzlich empfangen hat und jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung stand. Durch ihre Gastfreundschaft haben wir uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Insgesamt war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! 😊

We had a wonderful week at Chalet LINDELODGE and are very satisfied with our stay. The chalet was comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for our large group. Communication was smooth and everything worked well. We would happily come back again.
