This charming holiday home is perfectly secluded at Gaden 4 on the edge of the small village of Husum-Ballum, situated within the Wadden Sea National Park. The red wooden house spans 69 square metres and accommodates 4 people. It's a delightful gem of a holiday home with plenty of character, where you can enjoy peaceful moments on the terrace in the sheltered garden surrounded by trees. The water is just 1,000 metres away, and the local shop is a mere 500 metres from the holiday home.

The kitchen and living room share an open-plan layout, perfect for spending quality time with the whole family. Make yourself comfortable in the cosy furnishings while the wood-burning stove provides warming comfort, enjoy some fun board games, or simply relax with a good book.

For night-time rest, there are two bedrooms available - one with a double bed and another with bunk beds. The bathroom features underfloor heating and includes a washing machine. The kitchen comes equipped with a fridge-freezer and microwave.

Lawned grounds with open terrace

The well-maintained garden, enclosed by trees and shrubs, offers plenty of space for children to play. The garden includes a sandbox, and children can run around and play ball games on the lawn while you relax on the garden furniture, read a book, and enjoy freshly brewed coffee. You can also spend warm summer evenings on the terrace watching colourful sunsets before the stars appear in the night sky.

Close to the Wadden Sea National Park, nature and historic towns

The Ballum area is an excellent base for experiencing both nature and culture on Denmark's west coast.
Bird enthusiasts will be particularly delighted, as you're in an area where the "Black Sun" phenomenon occurs. Here, millions of starlings gather, creating spectacular aerial formations in both spring and autumn.

Both the towns of Tønder and Ribe (Denmark's oldest town) have much to offer. You'll find a wealth of holiday activities here, from picturesque old houses and shopping opportunities to museums and excellent culinary experiences.

If you fancy a day at the beach, take a drive across the causeway to Rømø to enjoy the wide sandy beaches, particularly famous for their annual kite festival. The nearest swimming beach, Sønderstrand, is 5.6 miles (9,000 metres) from the holiday home.
