Escape everyday life - time for 'hygge' and relaxation

This nostalgic wooden cottage at Mågevej 14 was renovated in 2023. Great care was taken to preserve its traditional charm while adding modern comforts. You'll feel the typical Danish 'hygge' atmosphere in every room. Look forward to lazy mornings, long beach walks, and cosy hours in front of the crackling wood-burning stove.

The living area, with its dining table and kitchen bench in a snug nook, is wonderfully cosy. The blend of light colours, cushions, soft sheepskins, and characterful vintage furniture creates an incredibly comfortable atmosphere. Large windows flood the room with natural light and offer splendid views over the heathland and marram grass - typical nature of the Danish west coast. You can sense the North Sea in the distance.

From the living area, you enter a small, welcoming conservatory. It's equipped with heating, allowing you to enjoy this delightful spot even on cooler days. The holiday home also features an energy-efficient heat pump, which can quickly warm the house on chilly summer days.

The holiday home has three bedrooms in total, one with a double bed and the other two with three single beds each. Perfect for catching up on sleep and recharging your batteries. The bathroom features a spacious shower enclosure and good basic amenities.

Enjoy nature in privacy

The holiday home's sheltered position offers various terrace spots where you can catch some sun throughout the day. One side borders a small pine grove, where you might spot local wildlife. The sheltered wooden terrace has sun loungers ready for relaxing outdoor naps. There's also a barbecue for preparing your evening steaks or sausages. Additionally, there's a solar-heated outdoor shower available during the summer months (closed from 1st November to 1st April due to frost risk).

Walk to the beach or shops

The magnificent wide sandy beach in Vejers is just a stroll across the dunes away. It's a wonderful feeling when you first glimpse the North Sea horizon.  Vejers beach is perfect for escaping everyday life and finding peace for body and soul.

The nearest shopping facilities are just 300 metres away. You can pick up fresh rolls during your morning walk, or send the children to fetch them. If you enjoy cycling, consider bringing your bikes or renting them locally. Around Vejers, you'll find excellent cycle routes and paths where you can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.
