In stormy weather, you can make yourself comfortable on the allergy-friendly living area made of textile leather and watch the waves drift by at the harbour entrance while a cosy fire crackles in the fireplace.

Kappeln is also known as "Deekelsen" from the popular TV series "Der Landarzt". A trip to Bad Arnis, Germany's smallest town, or to Eckernförde for the eel regatta or the pirate spectacle in August or to Sieseby, the beautiful half-timbered village directly on the Schlei.
