After breakfast, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sunshine while the children play on the lawn and climbing frame within the grounds. The terrace can be fully enclosed - a particular advantage if you're bringing a dog or have young children.

After dinner, spend the evening's final hours relaxing in the sauna and large hot tub, which seats six people - perfect for unwinding after a day in the fresh North Sea air. Meanwhile, children can enjoy themselves in the swimming pool or play on the Wii console before bedtime. The wine cooler stands ready with your favourite bottle waiting to be sampled.
