As you arrive, you’ll be greeted by a large covered terrace, which also serves as the entrance to the house. Stepping inside, you enter a spacious hallway with ample room for jackets and shoes. From here, there is access to three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms, both equipped with showers.

Further inside, you will find a bright and open living area featuring a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, as well as a cozy lounge with sofas, daybeds, and a wood-burning stove that creates warmth and a cozy ambiance on cooler evenings. The house has undergone a comprehensive renovation in recent years, with an open-plan living space featuring high ceilings. Large windows and a skylight flood the room with natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Additionally, the house is equipped with a heat pump, ensuring a comfortable indoor climate all year round.

The holiday home provides direct access to multiple wonderful terraces, two of which are covered. The west-facing terrace is perfect for gathering around the table for a delicious meal and enjoying long summer evenings with the sunset in the background. Here, you can take in the scenic views over the rolling dunes in complete privacy, with plenty of distance to the nearest neighbor.

At the front of the house, there is another covered terrace and a large lawn, ideal for outdoor fun and ball games.

A footpath leads directly from the house down to the beach in just a short walk. Stroll along the marram grass and reach Skallerup’s beautiful sandy shore, or use the nearby trails to quickly access Skallerup Seaside Resort, which offers a wide range of family-friendly activities.

The area surrounding the holiday home is rich in wildlife, so don’t be surprised if you spot pheasants or deer searching for food nearby.

Skallerup is a charming holiday home area located right on the edge of Denmark’s west coast. The surroundings invite you to take long walks through the dunes, forests, and along the beach throughout the year.

A short drive will take you to Lønstrup, a delightful town with cozy cafés, restaurants, and great shops where you can find unique souvenirs. You can also visit the many artisan workshops and watch craftsmen at work – a fascinating experience.

While in the area, be sure to visit Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, which was famously moved 70 meters inland in 2019 to prevent it from falling into the sea. The dramatic landscape surrounding the lighthouse vividly illustrates how the ocean relentlessly claims more of the coastline each year.
