This spacious holiday home at Møllegårdsvej 11 near Harboøre is ideal for families or groups of friends seeking ample space to spend time together. Strandfogedgården, dating back to 1877, was renovated and modernized in 2022, combining historic charm with modern comforts across 320 square meters. It sleeps 22 guests while preserving the house's original history, as it was once used to collect flotsam and jetsam from the sea. The holiday home features an activity room, an indoor spa area with a sauna and jacuzzi, an outdoor wilderness bath, and is just steps from the North Sea – a rare combination that makes it an ideal holiday destination any time of year.

The holiday home is not available for rent to youth groups or party groups.

Located in a peaceful, green setting between the North Sea and the Limfjord, it offers plenty of fresh air. Guests can stroll along the coast and enjoy tranquil mornings overlooking the expansive landscape and dunes. The area is known for its beautiful nature and is an ideal starting point for excursions to Thyborøn or Lemvig.

The holiday home consists of two buildings: the main building with an activity room, which forms the heart of communal life, and the annex, located just a few meters from the main building and therefore ideal for guests who prefer peace and quiet in the evenings.

The large living room in the main building invites you to long dinners, games, conversations, and relaxing evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a convection oven, a ceramic hob with four burners, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine, and a large refrigerator, making cooking for a large group easy. Practicality has also been considered: an extra kitchen area includes an additional dishwasher, a fridge/freezer, a sink and loads of storage space. A washing machine and dryer are also available. After an eventful day, you can cozy up in front of the television in the evening and enjoy the warmth of the two wood-burning stoves. The main building offers 12 beds distributed across 5 rooms, as well as 2 bathrooms with underfloor heating. There are 3 rooms with double bed, one room with 2 single beds, and one room with 4 single beds.

The 70-square-meter activity room offers hours of entertainment with billiards, table football, and table tennis. A play tower is located at one end, where children can climb, slide, and hide in the secret passage. At the opposite end is a cozy platform that can be enjoyed by guests of all ages. After an eventful day, you can enjoy the vacation rental's wellness area, which includes an indoor jacuzzi for two people and a sauna for six.

The ten beds in the annex are distributed across four bedrooms, offering flexible room layouts for families and multi-generational groups. There are two rooms with double beds, one bunk bed room, and one room with a double bed and an adjoining sleeping loft containing two mattresses. Centrally located in the annex, you will also find a bathroom with underfloor heating.

Outside, the expansive 24,000-square-meter dune property, teeming with diverse wildlife, offers countless possibilities. There's plenty of space to play, relax, and enjoy quiet moments. The terraces provide a natural setting for outside dining using the barbecue and invites you to cozy summer evenings accompanied by the sound of the North Sea. Children can have fun on the swings and in the sandbox, while adults enjoy the peace and quiet or unwind in the wilderness bath, which accommodates six people.

The holiday home is heated with energy-efficient heat pumps that can also be used as air conditioning. For a cozy evening you can enjoy the warmth spread by the wood-burning fireplaces in the livingrooms. All rooms are equipped with electric radiators. There's also the option of charging an electric car – an added bonus for those traveling from afar. Up to four pets are welcome, so your four-legged family members can join you.
