This older and partially renovated house is located in the small village of Knebelbro on Mols, offering a beautiful view over Knebel Vig. The ground floor includes 3 comfortable rooms with double beds, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette. A staircase leads to the first floor, where you will find a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and a large bedroom with a double bed. The spacious kitchen features a dishwasher, a dining area, and access to a lovely terrace.
Knebel is a small village on Djursland, situated on the western side of the Mols peninsula by Knebel Vig within Knebel Parish. The southern part of the village along the coast is called Knebel Bro. In the southern part of the village is Knebel Church, a Romanesque building constructed around 1175 on a hill with views over the bay. The church has a very small tower, which resembles more a roof turret than a traditional tower. The nave and altar were decorated in the late 1990s by the artist Bjørn Nørgaard.
About 1 kilometer east of the village along Porskærvej is Porskær Stenhus, one of Denmark’s largest round dolmens. It is believed to date back to the late Neolithic around 3000 BC and has a diameter of 20 meters. The dolmen is situated in the hilly Mols Bjerge, whose heath and moraine landscape rises just a few hundred meters east of the village.
From Knebel, it is about 12 kilometers to Rønde, 16 kilometers to Sletterhage on Helgenæs, and nearly 17 kilometers to Ebeltoft.
